Brian’s Optik X2 Senior Goalie Catch Glove
New for 2021 is the Brian’s Optik X2 senior goalie catch glove. This glove maximizes the 45 inch perimeter rule and has a gigantic catching pocket. The break of the glove has a 40 degree closure. Internally the Optik X2 glove uses a no slip SBA synthetic interior liner material. This material allows the goalie to gain more control with their fingers and palm while squeezing the glove. The Optik X2 uses a traditional nylon wrist strap which is surrounded by a large floating pad, this allows the goalie to lock down the glove with comfort. Across the back of the hand is another locking strap which is surrounded with a large padded air-knit material. The finger stalls also utilize an air-knit material for durability and comfort. The catching surface has a huge single t pocket with a deep thumb angle makes catching the puck very easy on this glove.
For a glove at this Senior/Pro level, there is a lot of padding in the Optik X2. In reality the padding on this glove feels like a pro level glove off the shelf.
