Brian’s Optik X3 Intermediate Goalie Catch Glove

New for 2023 is the Brian’s Optik X3 intermediate goalie catch glove. This glove is ideal for younger goalies (generally 11 to 14 years olds) that play A thru AAA travel hockey levels. The break of the glove has a 40 degree closure angle.  Internally the Optik X3 glove uses a no slip SBA synthetic interior liner material.  This material allows the goalie to gain more control with their fingers and palm while squeezing the glove.  The Optik X3 uses a traditional nylon wrist strap which is surrounded by a large SBA floating pad, this allows the goalie to lock down the glove with comfort. Across the back of the hand is another locking strap which is surrounded with a large, padded air-knit material. The finger stalls also utilize an air-knit material for durability and comfort.  The catching surface has a huge single t pocket with a deep thumb angle makes catching the puck very easy on this glove. Proportionately, Brian’s has done a very good job scaling this glove down compared to the senior sized glove.

For a intermediate size level, there is a lot of padding in the Optik X3.
