Warrior Ritual G7 Pro Intermediate Goalie Leg Pads – Special Edition

New for 2024, Goalies Plus has decided to bring Warrior back into the fold.  In the past, we have not carried the Warrior pads, however we felt that the G7 was a great product for the price.

The Warrior G7 leg pads have a reinforced thigh rise, making the pads stiff from the bottom of the knee on up.  In the shin area of the pads, Warrior is using carbon composite high density foam which allows for an explosive rebound off the face of the pad. A single break below the knee and also on the vertical roll gives the pad a very nice vertical and lateral flex.  These flexes are very important because it allows the pad to cover the five hole and not hinder skating movements.  The vertical flex allows for butterfly coverage while the lateral (torsional) flex allows the pad to move when a goalie is skating and recovering.

Warrior will continue to use its popular slide plates in the knee blocks.  The slide plates allow for incredible slidability side to side in the butterfly.  The slide plates take away almost all the friction between the ice and the pads – even on chewed up third period ice. If a goalie feels that the slides plates have too much slide, these are easy to remove.

Warrior will also have a stabilizing calf wedge which better supports the goalie in the butterfly technique.  This helps eliminate over and under rotation when the goalie drops into the butterfly position.

Warrior Ritual G7 Pro Intermediate Goalie Catch Glove – Special Edition

New for 2024 is the Warrior Ritual G7 Pro Catch Glove.  First impression of the Ritual G7 is how game ready it is off the shelf.  The G7 Glove opens and closes with no additional break in methods.  Goalies Plus has also added a skate lace pocket to the Ritual G7 glove.  The skate lace pocket is the most asked for spec at Goalies Plus and we have added it to all of our Warrior gloves for 2024.

The Warrior Ritual G7 Intermediate Catch Glove comes with a removable palm.  The palm that comes with the G7 Intermediate glove is the 75-degree break angle liner.  If a goalie wants to change the break angle, the palm can be removed and replaced with a 60 or 90-degree palm liner.

Warrior Ritual G7 Pro Intermediate Goalie Blocker – Special Edition

New for 2024 is the Warrior G7 Intermediate Pro goalie blocker.  The Ritual G7 Intermediate goalie blocker uses the 20-degree blocker face.  This 20-degree face points slightly downward towards the shooters blade and puck.  The palm on the Ritual G7 is also removable and replaceable.

The Ritual G7 also uses the X-Foam in the index finger area, this was a very popular feature on previous generation Warrior goalie blockers.

Warrior has also worked on increasing the wrist mobility on the Ritual G7 blockers.  With puck handling at a premium in today’s game, maximum wrist mobility is a necessity.
